Barcelona, Spain's second largest city and the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region, is a city that has gained worldwide fame. This magnificent city, washed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, offers an unique combination of history, art, culture and entertainment. With its grand architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with Antoni Gaudí's unique works. After our tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Barcelona – Girona & Figueres (Dalí Museum) – Barcelona
After the breakfast we will have at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour "Pearls of Grand Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum)" for an additional fee. (70 Euro) Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Girona is a historic city located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. On our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, the Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After the tour, we head towards the city of Figueres. Figueres is located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist site in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí established a museum here to leave something behind in his birthplace and to exhibit his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dalí's works, and since he designed every part of it, it is referred to as Dalí's greatest masterpiece. Inside the museum, there are over 4,000 works created by Dalí using various techniques. After the tour, we transfer back to our hotel. In the evening, guests who wish can join the optional tour "Grand Flamenco Fire" for an additional fee. (55 Euro) Flamenco is considered an expression of emotion and passion and is an important part of Spain's cultural heritage. As both dance and music, flamenco offers audiences a lively and exciting experience. After enjoying your time here, we transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Barcelona – Park Güell & Gothic Quarter – Barcelona
After the breakfast served at the hotel, guests who wish may join the additional tour titled "Gaudi's Magnificent Work: Park Guell & Gothic Quarter" (60 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Park Guell. One of Antoni Gaudi's magnificent works, Park Guell is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as a fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairs and imaginary pavilions. After seeing this magnificent work by Gaudi, our second stop will be the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages through its narrow and labyrinthine streets dating back to that era, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls, while admiring the historic fabric. Among the most important buildings in the neighborhood are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King's Square), and La Rambla. After our tour, guests who wish may join the additional "Magnificent Sitges Tour" (40 Euro). Sitges is a charming coastal town located southwest of Barcelona on the Mediterranean coast. Famous for its turquoise sea, beautiful beaches, and lively atmosphere, it is also known for art and cultural events, hosting numerous art galleries, museums, and festivals. Our visit begins with the magical stairs of San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral, and we will wander through its historic streets. Built upon the remains of an old Romanesque and Gothic church, this cathedral dates back to the 17th century. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey takes us through the historic streets of Sitges, where the Maricel Palace and Museum, one of the rare examples of Modernism remaining in the medieval city center, is an absolute paradise for collectors. Right opposite stands the Cau Ferrat Museum, which was the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the Modernist movement in Catalonia. He played a major role in making the town so well-known after he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges. After walking through the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, attracting thousands of people every year as a venue for horror and fantasy film categories, is celebrated, and seeing the colorful houses and charming bars, we will head towards the beach and spend the rest of our time enjoying ourselves like the locals.
