Side: Green Canyon Lake Cruise & Mountain Escape
Spend a relaxing day in the Taurus Mountains with a peaceful cruise across the Green Canyon reservoir, swimming breaks in clear freshwater, and lunch at a scenic lakeside restaurant.
Leave the busy coastal resorts behind and discover one of the most peaceful natural landscapes near Side.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the foothills of the Taurus Mountains toward the impressive Oymapınar Dam. This vast mountain reservoir forms the stunning Green Canyon, known for its calm waters and dramatic cliffs.
Board a comfortable boat and begin a gentle cruise across the emerald-colored lake. As you travel through the canyon, enjoy views of forest-covered slopes and quiet coves that make this area one of the most tranquil spots in the region.
During the trip, there will be opportunities to stop for a refreshing swim in the clear freshwater lake. You can relax on deck, enjoy the scenery, or take a dip surrounded by nature.
Midway through the day, the boat docks near a lakeside restaurant where a freshly prepared lunch is served with views across the reservoir.
After lunch, continue exploring another part of the canyon by boat before returning to the harbor. At the end of the excursion, transfer back to your hotel in Side.
This experience is perfect for travelers looking to enjoy a slower pace, combining nature, mountain scenery, and a relaxing cruise away from crowded tourist areas.
