COP31 takes place from 9 to 20 November 2026 at the Antalya EXPO Center in Aksu, east of Antalya city centre. Staying outside the shuttle network? Plan your own ride

Free conference shuttles will run to the Antalya EXPO Center, including routes from the airport and the city centre. The important detail: the hotel shuttles stop only at hotels listed on the conference accommodation platform. If you are staying at a hotel that is not on that list, or in a villa, apartment or with friends, the shuttle will not come to your door, and the organisers advise that you may need to make your own way to the nearest shuttle stop. Shuttle timetables are due to be published closer to the conference on cop31.tr/transportation.

How far is the Antalya EXPO Center?

Approximate distances and driving times to the venue, as given on the conference accommodation platform for normal traffic:

• Lara and Kundu: about 15 km, around 20 minutes
• Belek: about 20 km, around 25 minutes
• Antalya city centre: about 22 km, around 30 minutes
• Konyaaltı: about 30 km, around 45 minutes

Journey times during the conference can be longer, especially at peak hours and on the Leaders' Summit days.

Leaders' Summit, 11–12 November: leave early

The World Leaders Climate Action Summit takes place on 11 and 12 November, with heads of state and government attending. Expect heavier traffic and possible road restrictions on these two days. If you have a session or a flight, set off earlier than usual. When we plan your transfers for these dates, we build in extra time.

Visiting the Green Zone

The Green Zone is open to the public and entry is free. You register online in advance and receive a QR code for entry; you do not need a conference badge. Register at cop31.tr/register-to-visit. The Blue Zone is for registered conference participants only.

Visa and entry: where to check

Registered COP31 participants apply for a free electronic COP31 visa through evisa.gov.tr, and participants who do not need a visa receive a COP31 visa exemption certificate. Travel insurance is mandatory. Rules depend on your nationality and passport, so always check the current details on cop31.tr/visa-and-entry before you travel. The venue is in Aksu, east of the city centre and close to Antalya Airport, about 20–30 minutes away by road according to the organisers. The organisers list the area around the venue among the recommended places to stay. Tell us whether you would rather be close to the venue, the sea or the old town, and we will suggest options and plan your transport around them.

Do I have to stay at a hotel on the conference accommodation platform?

No. The conference accommodation platform, linked from cop31.tr/accommodation, lists the conference hotels, and the hotel shuttles stop only at those hotels. You can also stay at another hotel, a villa or an apartment. In that case you arrange your own way to the venue or to the nearest shuttle stop. Is it too late to find a hotel for COP31?

The organisers strongly recommend booking early because of the high number of expected participants, so the sooner you start, the more choice you will have.
