Formula 1 returns to Türkiye in 2027. The Turkish Grand Prix 2027 is scheduled for 1–3 October 2027 at TOSFED Istanbul Park in Tuzla, on the Asian side of Istanbul: practice on Friday 1 October, qualifying on Saturday 2 October and the race on Sunday 3 October. Session times have not been announced yet.
ALYS Tours helps race fans with the parts of the trip that are not the ticket: choosing where to stay, finding a hotel, airport transfers and getting to and from Istanbul Park on race days. Message us on WhatsApp: +90 530 308 50 01.
ALYS Tours does not sell race tickets. Tickets are sold only through Formula 1's ticket site and the race promoter TOSFED:
As of October 2026, tickets are not on sale yet and no prices have been published. Formula 1's ticket site has a general admission waitlist, and TOSFED offers pre-registration. Sign up on both to hear when sales open, then let us take care of your hotel and transfers.
Istanbul Park is on the far eastern edge of Istanbul, a long way from the historic centre (reported at around 50 km). Hotels close to the circuit are reported to be limited, so the area you choose matters more than at many other races. Here is how the main options compare, based on reports from previous race years. All distances and times are approximate.
The closest hotel cluster. The circuit is reported to be about 10 km from Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), and several airport-area hotels are reported at roughly 7–10 km from Istanbul Park. A good choice if you are flying into SAW and want the shortest race-day journey.
The district the circuit belongs to. There are fewer hotels here, but they are reported to be within a short drive of Istanbul Park.
A middle option with more choice, reported at around 20–30 minutes from the circuit by road. Pendik also has metro and Marmaray connections.
Lively, with plenty of restaurants and easy ferry links to the European side. Reported journey times to the circuit are around an hour on race days.
Ideal if Istanbul sightseeing is a big part of your trip, but reported race-day journeys can take up to two hours each way. If you stay here, plan an early start.
Not sure which area suits you? Tell us your dates, group size and budget, and we will suggest hotel options and how you would get to the circuit from each.
Istanbul Park is on the Asian side, so staying on this side of the city keeps race-day journeys simpler. Two hotels we like for the weekend:
Good areas to look at are Tuzla, Pendik, Kartal and the neighbourhoods around Sabiha Gökçen Airport, handy if you are flying into SAW. For current rates and room options, ask us on WhatsApp +90 530 308 50 01 for a quote.
SAW is the nearest airport to the circuit and to the Kurtköy hotels. Our private Sabiha Gökçen transfer takes you from arrivals to your hotel. Transfers can be booked instantly via the transfer search on our homepage.
Landing at Istanbul Airport on the European side? It is a longer drive to the Asian side, so a private transfer is the easiest way to reach your hotel with luggage. See our Istanbul Airport transfer.
We can arrange transfers between your hotel in Kurtköy, Tuzla, Pendik, Kadıköy or elsewhere in Istanbul and Istanbul Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including the return after the race. For groups, we can plan a shared minibus at times that suit your schedule.
In previous race years, special race-day buses were reported to run to the circuit, for example from Pendik, which can be reached by metro or Marmaray. Public transport plans for 2027 have not been announced yet.
Staying a few extra days? Explore the city with a private Istanbul tour with driver or a Bosphorus dinner cruise, or browse all our Istanbul tours.

The nearest hotels are reported to be in the Kurtköy and Yenişehir area near Sabiha Gökçen Airport, roughly 7–10 km from the circuit, and in Tuzla. Pendik and Gebze are a little further out, reported at around 20–30 minutes by road. Supply close to the circuit is limited, so it is worth planning early.
