Side: Turkish Bath, Spa, and Massage Experience

You change, receive slippers, a towel and a peştemal, and warm up in the sauna and salt room and on the heated marble stone. A hamam attendant (tellak) then scrubs you with a kese mitt, followed by a foam massage. The session ends with a full-body oil massage, where the therapist adjusts the pressure to your preference, and a face mask.

Yes. No experience is needed: the staff take you through each step, slippers, towels and a peştemal are provided, and you can tell your therapist if you prefer a lighter or firmer massage.

A swimsuit or bikini is required to enter the hamam, so please wear or bring one. Towels, slippers and a peştemal (traditional cotton wrap) are provided, and you get a locker for your belongings.

Many guests go in the first days of their holiday, before their skin has had a lot of sun, because the kese scrub removes dead skin. Do not have a scrub on sunburned, irritated or broken skin; tell the staff if you have sunburn.

Yes. Every package includes a massage, along with the sauna, salt room and hamam. In the Standard program you get a 30-minute kese and foam massage and a 30-minute full-body oil massage; the other packages have different massage types and durations. Extra massages are not included in the price.

Plan about 2–3 hours for the Standard program, including the transfer. Its treatments add up to about 1.5 hours (sauna 15 min, salt room 15 min, scrub and foam 30 min, oil massage 30 min) plus the face mask. Bigger packages take longer: about 150 minutes of treatments for Mix Therapy and about 180 minutes for Platinium.

The only exception is the "Welcome Package – Without Transfer", which does not include transport. Please give us your hotel name and room number when you book. Staying outside the Side area? The kese removes dead skin, so your skin feels smoother and cleaner, and the warmth and massage help you relax after days of sightseeing or beach time.

Only a swimsuit or bikini (required for entry), a change of clothes, any personal toiletries you like, and some cash for drinks or extras. Towels, slippers, a peştemal and a locker are provided.

If you want to try a classic Turkish bath once during your holiday, the Standard program covers the full sequence (sauna, salt room, marble stone, kese and foam, oil massage and face mask) in one visit, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.

Pregnant guests are welcome up to the end of the 5th month. A specialist therapist looks after you, and the foot area is never massaged. From the 6th month on, the hamam is not suitable. Please ask your doctor before booking and tell us you are pregnant when you book. If you have a heart or blood-pressure condition, please also check with your doctor first, as the programme includes sauna and hot rooms.
